Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.

How to Apply : Layer it on your lids for a luxe look, sweep it on your cheeks for a sexy sheen, or use it as an all-over finishing touch before you head out for the night.

How cute and adorable is the packaging! Can it get any better? Not in my opinion..No! I just adore the retro packaging of theBalm products, its attractive, practical and looks super gorgeous on your vanity! Mary-Lou Manizer comes in cream colored box packaging, the highlighter itself comes in round tub packaging and it super attractive! It contains whopping 8.5 g of product which is almost double of what we get with regular blushes and highlighters. No way in this life will I'll be able to finish off this product, it will definitely last a very long time!

The shade is described as "honey-hued luminizer" which is very apt. The shade is gorgeous champagne color with gold under tones to it. Its a multi purpose product and can be used as an eyeshadow, highlighter or all over shimmer.

Its highly pigmented in nature so a light touch of brush is enough to highlight the cheeks. It blends beautifully giving soft glow to cheeks. Its important that one blends this product well or else it might show up a bit too shimmery and may emphasize the pores but once blended out nicely it does not emphasize any imperfections and gives a gorgeous soft glow to the face. It does not have obvious glitter or shimmers so I feel it would work on majority of the skin tones. 

The texture of the highlighter is extremely finely milled with minimum fall outs, however I did not face any fall out issue once applied on the cheeks. Its pretty long lasting even in hot and humid climate. I have worn this for 8 hours straight without much fading. I prefer to apply it using a fan brush or a fluffy brush which helps to blend in the highlighter well. Always use a light hand while blending to get the gorgeous golden hued sheen on cheeks. I have used it as brow bone highlight as well as inner corner highlight for eyes and it works extremely well both way! Overall an amazing highlighter and definitely recommended to all!

One of the best highlighters I have used and would definitely recommend it to everyone! Its my HG highlighter and reach for it often. Definitely give it a try if you are looking for a champagne gold highlighter!
