Lakme Absolute Matte Lipstick in Peach Carnation: Review, Swatch and FOTD

Today I'll be reviewing one of my favorite lips for office its Lakme Absolute Matte Lipstick in Peach Carnation!

Peach Carnation is a gorgeous neutral MLBB shade and is very flattering on Indian skin tones! The shade perfect for office wear since it has perfect balance of brown and pink! It comes out more pink on me than brown. I got this shade last year during Diwali and since then its been one of my absolute favorites!

The packaging is not so attractive, it comes in a steel grey colored tube with a flat top bullet, honestly I am not a big fan of flat top lipstick bullets but its does not bother me much since it applies lipstick fairly good.

I think Lakme has done fantastic with the formula of these! They are buttery smooth and feel like satin on lips! They glide on lips ultra smooth and feel extremely light weight. The finish as the name says is matte but not flat matte its more of natural looking matte. It almost feels like a stain and settles to a natural finish. 

It does not settle into fine lines and are quite long lasting! They easily last 6 to 7 hours on me with in between meals! Hence perfect for office! The pigmentation good and one swipe does give good amount of color on lips. I usually go for couple of swipes and I am good to go for the whole day!

The only issue I have is that they feel a bit drying on lips after 2 to 3 hours, nothing major but a bit drying so if you have dry or chapped lips applying a lip balm before the lipstick would easily solve this problem

Over all I really really love the shade, the formula, the staying power, the pigmentation..everything and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

-> The formula could have been a bit more moisturizing

This definitely is one of my favorite picks for office and everyday wear, ultra smooth and comfortable on lips with light weight texture and amazing staying power! What else one needs! Highly recommend it to everyone!
