MUA Extreme Curl Mascara Review, Swatch and EOTD

MUA Extreme Curl Mascara was one of the items I hauled during MUA's 50% off sale in Jan/Feb earlier this year. I generally don't experiment a lot with mascaras and always stick to Maybelline or L'oreal but now I feel I must try out different mascaras especially since I absolutely wearing them on day to day basis! Next I am eyeing Max Factor ones!

MUA products are cheap and quite good in quality atleast I have not faced any quality issue yet. Extreme curl mascara comes in two shades Black-Brown and Black and of course I have the shade Black since I like my lashes to look really jet black!

Extreme Curl mascara is priced at 2 pounds and contains 7ml of product. The packaging is quite eye catchy with flashy silver tube. The unique part about this mascara is the wand. The wand itself is curled and I believe this is the reason why its called Extreme Curl mascara.

I really do like this mascara since it gives great length to my lashes and also curls them. The curling effect for me does not last for more than 6 hours but I am ok with it. It does give some volume to the lashes but nothing extra ordinary. The color is nice dark black and perfect for everyday. It dries pretty quick and once set it does not flake or make lashes stiff like some other mascaras do! It does not feel heavy on the eyes or lashes so definitely a plus point here! The formula of the mascara is creamy and on thicker side not that it bothers me since it does what its suppose to do! In one coat it gives nice length to the lashes but it does clump sometimes when second coat is applied.

Overall quite a good mascara for daily wear especially if you don't have time to curl your lashes using eye lash curler and still want some length and volume in your lashes!

-> The curls does not last more than 6 hours
-> Not waterproof (Absolutely fine for me but might be a con for someone)
-> Not available in India

Price:- 2 pounds for 7ml

Definitely recommend this mascara if you are looking for something which will curl your eyelashes as well as lengthen them!
