Hey Everyone!
As promised today I'll be sharing with you all step by step tutorial for my look which I did inspired by Haifa Wehbe. If you don't know Haifa Wehbe she is a Lebanese singer and an actor. Her makeup looks have always been raved and this particular look has been re-created by a number of you tube gurus :)
So without wasting any time further, lets us begin! List of the products used will be mentioned at the end.
Step1:- Always start with a clean moisturized eye area, my skin around the eyes is very dry so an eye cream is a must for me
Step2:- Conceal/correct your dark circles, this is optional step do it only if you have horrible dark circles like I do
Step3:- Prime your eyelids with an eye primer or paintpot or you can even use a concealer just make sure to set it with a powder
Step4:- Apply a gold eyeshadow all over the lids heavily, take right into the inner corners as well
Step5:- Now apply taupe brown eyeshadow starting at the outer corners making a winged shape as shown in the pic
Step6:- Using a clean blending brush like MAC 217 blend out the harsh edges on the crease making sure the winged shape on the outer corner is maintained.
Step7:- Tightline your eyes using a kohl and apply the same kohl on waterline. Also using very thin small brush take a matte black eyeshadow and line the edges of the upper lashline. This gives impression of defined eyes without using an eyeliner and also makes lashes appear full
Step8:- Apply a shimmery teal eyeliner or eyeshadow whatever you have at hand on the lower lashline and blend it using a pencil brush like 219 from MAC
Step9:- Next apply a shimmery vibrant purple eyeliner or eyeshadow and blend again. Finally again apply the teal eyeliner but only closest to the lower lashline.
Step10:- Apply some mascara and false eyelashes. Do touch ups wherever needed like re-apply the golden eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes to make it more vibrant and dont forget to fill in your brows and apply a brow bone highlight
Step11:- Your look is complete :)

-> MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre to prime eye lids
-> Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer in NW30
-> Half Baked eyeshadow from Urban Decay Naked Palette 1 on the eye lids
-> Smog + Dark Horse eyeshadow from Urban Decay Naked Palette 1 on the outer corner and crease

Deletehi , so gorgeous <3 , but i have a question about the prolong wear concealer i'm so confused about choosing the right colour , in fact i used to wear peachy concealer cuz i got brown dark circles so does nw30 close to a peach colour or i should use an orange correctoor?
ReplyDeleteHi, if you have extreme darkness I would suggest you to go for a orange/peachy color corrector first and then concealer as using only concealer can look a bit ashy, go to MAC store and get sample of pro long wear concealers, for color corrector bobbi brown makes some really good ones, even kryolan has a fantastic orange color corrector..hope this helps
Deletethanx for all this informations , my skin tone is close to urs so what colour of corrector u use
ReplyDeleteI have one from Laura Mercier its called orange/yellow corrector..even Kryolan makes fantastic orange concealer
