Reader's Say: Do you prefer eyeshadow palettes or eyeshadow singles?

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Mine was very relaxed and I took the much needed break from work since last couple of weeks were quite hectic. Being passionate about makeup and beauty related things I quite enjoy reading and participating in healthy discussions about all makeup and beauty products, so I thought why not lets start a new section 'Reader's Say' where in I would share my opinion about a particular question or a product or a technique and you all can of course share their opinion about the same. This is a great way of sharing and learning about new things, so what say dear readers? Are you ready?

For today's topic I decided to ask your opinion and preference on single eyeshadows vs eyeshadow palettes, so do you prefer eyeshadow palettes or eyeshadow singles?

When I first started my journey into makeup I was more attracted towards eyeshadow singles. Being neutral lover I always ventured into getting single neutral eyeshadows from different brands like MAC,Inglot, Colorbar etc which catered perfectly to my everyday makeup needs without spending a bomb on huge palettes which at that time I found no use of!

However as the years passed on I confess I prefer to buy eyeshadow palettes now rather than going for singles. Firstly palettes are much more travel friendly since you get a range of shades and a lot of times one single palettes have all the shades from lid color to crease to highlight to create that perfect look. I also find palettes to be of great value for money, though being on a bit expensive side in palettes but you get 8 to 12 shades which if calculated comes to much cheaper than getting 12 single eyeshadows.

I still collect singles but I prefer shades which are unique and which can be worn alone without adding another shade in the crease. This way I can get the look done within minutes rather than searching for a crease color to go with my lid color.

Another thing I love doing is to create my custom palette using my Inglot refills! Absolutely love Inglot for such a concept makes it so much easier for one to create a custom palette with all the shades you need plus not to mention it becomes travel friendly as well.
