MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot Reivew and Swatches

Hey Everyone!

MAC Paint Pot Soft Ochre

If you are familiar with MAC you'd know their Paint Pots are their top best sellers especially Painterly which is a cult favorite for an eye shadow base. Being warm toned Painterly appears too ashy since it has strong beige/pink undertones and hence I got my hands on Soft Ochre which is more of yellow under tone.

Soft Ochre Paint Pot from MAC  is one of the most underrated product according to me, I haven't seen many people using it. This one is a boon especially for Indian skin tones since we have a lot of olive and yellow under tones and Soft Ochre works amazingly well for warm and olive undertones. I have been using it as an eye shadow base since almost 6 months and you can see how much I have used it. You have seen me use this in almost all my tutorials.

It works fantastic as an eye shadow, the eye shadows appear more vibrant and stay on for a long time without creasing or fading. Due to strong yellow undertones it works great as a brow bone highlight as well! It can be used on its own or under the eye shadows to prevent creasing and fading. I absolutely love how it brighten's up the eyes and makes them appear less dull and tired. It evens out the eye lids beautifully covering  any discolorations or pigmentation. My eye shadows stay put the whole day without any oiliness or creasing!

MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot

The texture is creamy and settles into a matte finish. It does not have any glitter or shimmer and hence its perfect for everyday wear. The only problem would be that it can be a bit drying especially if you have dry eye lids like me. Apart from that I have no complaints whatsoever and definitely recommend this product to everyone especially if you have oily eye lids.
