Hey everyone!
Now for the big question, is it dupe for Nars Orgasm and Laguna? I would say No! Of course the concept is similar and even the packaging but there is a huge difference in the shades but as a blush and bronzer duo this is pretty amazing and for 3$ I definitely can't complain!

Love,
Are you familiar with writer's block? I think I am having one right now! Though there is so much that I want to share with you all for some weird reasons my mind has just stopped functioning and all of a sudden I am at a loss for words! Anyways I have decided to clear the backlog asap and share some of the awesome and not so awesome products which I have been enjoying lately.
I love my blushes & bronzers and this is no secret. I usually try to switch products so as to get proper use out of my entire collection and none of them are left behind. Since last few months I have been loving my NYC Sunny Bronzer a lot and use it almost every time but since I wanted a change I picked up my ELF Studio Contouring and Bronzing Palette in the shade St Lucia which is supposedly a dupe for Nars Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer! So lets find out how I feel about it!
If you a makeup enthusiast as myself than I am sure you have definitely heard about ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powders. These are available in 3 shades out of which I picked up St Lucia which seems to be an exact dupe for Nars Orgasm and Laguna Duo! I do own both Nars Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzers and I plan to do a detailed comparison between these two very soon, so stay tuned!
Packaging wise the duo comes in a nice black plastic packaging with a good size mirror. The packaging is definitely very identical to the Nars one the only difference being Nars comes in the standard Nars rubberized packaging. The ELF duo retails for 3$ in US which is a steal considering the amount of the product you get.
The blush is very pretty peachy pink shade with subtle tiny golden shimmers. The shimmers are merely visible on the cheeks rather it gives a lovely glow to the skin. Pigmentation is good but the shade I feel is very light for my skin tone, though I definitely can build it to show but it'll take good 2 to 3 layers. I feel this blush will suit light to medium skin tones and for dusky girls I am afraid this will work more like a highlighter rather than a blush. It stays on my combination skin for about 4 hours after which it fades away leaving behind subtle golden glow. The texture of the blush is a bit stiff but when picked up with a brush it works beautifully and blends easily.
Lets talk about the bronzer now, the first thing I notice is that the texture of the bronzer is a lot softer than the blush counterpart and is tad bit powdery as well. It's highly pigmented so one definitely needs to be careful while using this bronzer. Just a touch of brush is more than enough to build the color on the cheeks. The shade is deep brown with red undertones so it works beautifully as a bronzer and gives subtle glow to the skin. It blends easily and does not turn patchy either. On my skin it stays for about 6 hours which for the price part is pretty decent. The bronzer does have tiny golden flecks of shimmer again very subtle and is hardly visible on the skin. The bronzer I feel would work well for light to medium skin tones, if you are extremely pale it might look muddy on you but than in 3$ its a steal and won't hurt your pockets even if you give it a try! The bronzer does not work well as a contour atleast for my olive skin tone, for contouring I like more neutral brown shades something like NYC Sunny or Benefit Hoola.
Rating:- 4 out of 5
I have bronzed my forehead and sides of my cheeks and used the blush quite heavily, for reference I am NC40-42 in MAC
ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St Lucia retails for 3$ in US and can be purchased directly from ELF website or other departmental stores that sells ELF cosmetics. I picked up mine from sgdrugstore.com when I was in KL. I am not affiliated to the seller.
