Ducray Keracnyl Foaming Gel Cleanser For Acne Prone Skin

Hey Everyone!

Hope you all are doing fine, I know I have been mia for couple of days but honestly last few days were extremely busy and hectic for me. Anyways today I'll review a gem of a product which I discovered purely by accident! Although I love my Sebamed Clear Face Cleansing Foam to death..ok that was exaggeration but you know how I love it...I wanted a stronger face wash for evenings especially with AHA's ie glycolic or salicylic acid. So while browsing online I came across Ducray products and came across this face wash which contains glycolic acid as well as salicylic acid both of which are fantastic for acne prone skin.

I got this I believe end of November and have been using ever since and still I have 1/4 of product left which I believe will last me well for over 2 to 3 weeks. Ducray Keracnyl range is developed especially for oily and acne prone skin. Ducray I believe is an EU brand and quite well known, to be honest I don't know what is with these european and french pharmacy brands but they work pretty well for my skin type :)

Ducray Keracnyl Foaming Gel comes in a see through plastic tube as you can see in the pictures. The packaging is very basic and convenient. The tube contains 100ml of product which depending upon the usage should last you couple of months especially only pea size amount is enough for the entire face. Ducray Keracnyl Foaming Gel retails for 340/- and is available across all leading medical shops.

The texture is thick gel like and lathers very well. Only a pea sized amount is required to face your entire face. It contains glycolic acid 4% and salicylic acid 1% both of which are fantastic for oily and acne prone skin. I have been using this face wash only the night time when I want deep cleansing and it works very well. I don't use this for removing my makeup nor would I suggest as this is not a makeup remover but it does deep cleanse your skin pretty well without making it dry. The face looks bright and radiant without that stretchy feeling. It definitely works at keeping oil and pimples at bay. I remember I got it because during late October and early November my skin was going through a terrible phase and I was getting lots of pimple but ever since I started using this those big ugly pimples are almost gone!

I do get tiny whiteheads and zits but the they have reduced considerably. This face wash is definitely not a cure for all your acne problems but along with right products it can definitely help you to maintain a clear looking healthy skin! I also feel it keeps my oiliness at bay and keep the skin looking oil free for hours! My skin is used to glycolic based products but if you are using for the first time it might cause you a bit of drying though I really did not face any such issue.

For the price its a fantastic face wash especially if we compare with  competitors in the market! Highly recommend it if you are facing problems like acne/pimples/whiteheads/zits/blackheads etc! A must try!

  1. Parita I was using a shampoo from ducray called Anaphase, a very creamy shampoo meant to help control hairfall. It sure seems like an effective brand :)
