L'oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation Review, Swatch and FOTD

Hey everyone!

Today I'll be reviewing the L'oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation in the shade G7 ie Golden Bronze

L'oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation

I haven't been a big foundation junkie until this year, one of the reasons was the unavailability of the perfect shade in our local foundation. There were not many choices for foundations having proper yellow undertones and the only choice was MAC. So when I was in KL I picked up L'oreal Lucent Magique Foundation which seems to be give very similar results to MUFE HD foundation! Now I don't own the MUFE HD foundation but I have tried it in the store and absolutely loved the results! It gives the most gorgeous natural glowy look and to my surprise L'oreal Lucent Magique foundation also does the same at 1/3rd price!

L'oreal Lucent Magique Foundation comes in 6 shades in Asia and they range from R - Pink undertones, N - Neutral undertones and G - Golden undertones. I have the shade G7 which is Golden Bronze and has the most prominent yellow/golden undertone. L'oreal Lucent Magique I believe is the same as the L'oreal True Match Lumi Foundation which is available in US.

The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. Like most foundations it contains 30ml of product. I am not a fan of bulky glass bottle packaging but in this case I quite like it since its not heavy or bulky at all, plus it comes with a pump with is a huge plus point! It also contains SPF of 24 PA+++ so you can easily skip your sunscreen when using this foundation.

The shade G7 is perfect for my NC40-42 skin tone since it has very prominent yellow under tones. The texture of the foundation is thin and not thick like Revlon Colorstay. It blends beautifully giving sheer to medium coverage. It is buildable and does not look cakey! Even though you can build this foundation I don't think it will give you full coverage. It does cover spots and redness very well but not those deep rooted scars. I find the texture and coverage perfect for everyday use since it looks very natural!

Loreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation Swatch

I have combination skin and this foundation works well for me. The claims of Light Infusing Technology actually seems to be true since it gives gorgeous healthy glowy skin! It does not make my skin appear shiny or over dewy. It feel like your skin but better! I always set my foundation with a powder and this foundation keeps my skin oil free for about 3 to 4 hours after which one may need a touch up.

It does not contain any shimmer or glitter at all so its perfect for everyday wear or when you want just pure healthy looking skin! It sets to a semi matte finish which I prefer since a lot of times foundations which are completely matte tend to make your face flat which is not flattering.

I feel this is a must have foundation for special occasions and even for brides since it gives that healthy glowy look which I believe most of the brides would want! It will work for majority of the skin tones even for oily skins but if you are someone who does not prefer glowy look than its not for you, also extremely oil skin girls would probably need to blot their face more often than normal to combination skin. It did not break me out so definitely suited for all skin types!

I have used this foundation in the hot and humid weather of KL and dry climate of Pune and never had any issues. It stays on my skin for 6 to 7 hours which is pretty decent with blotting once in between.

This is how the foundation looks on my NC40-42 skin tone. I really love the shade range of this foundation and how light weight it feels on the skin. Its definitely a must try foundation from the drugstore!
