Hide Your Dark Circles With Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfecter In Orange/Yellow: Review, Swatches With Before & After Pictures

Hey Everyone!

Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfecter

If there was one thing I could change about my face it would for sure be my ever growing under eye dark circles! I have been battling them since forever and the only way to cover these bad boys is using a color  corrector having orange or peach undertones. One such product would be Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfector in the shade Orange/Yellow.

I got Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfecter when I was in KL and have been using it ever since and I do quite like it. The shade Orange/Yellow is perfect for my dark under eye circles and pigmented eye lids. I don't know why its named as Orange/Yellow..clearly its not yellow!

The packaging of product is very simple, it comes in round tub similar to MAC Paint Pots but the difference being this being a plastic tub which makes it travel friendly and less bulky! It contains 1.7g of product which is quite good if we compare with other higher end brands like Bobbi Brown corrector which retails for 24$ for 1.4g

Laura Mercier Under Eye Perfecter Orange/Yellow

As mentioned earlier the shade Orange/Yellow works very well me as I have dark bluish pigmentation around my eyes and even on my eye lids. They do have another shade with pink/mauve undertones. The texture of this corrector is creamy but settles to satin matte finish. I found the texture very similar to MAC Paint Pots but this one is more creamy and easier to blend.

I usually use my ring finger to apply and blend out the corrector and it work wells. It corrects dark circles and hyper pigmentation on my eye lids extremely well as you can see below in the picture. I have very dry skin around my eyes and even though it does not settle into fine lines sometimes I do feel it a tad by drying. The staying power is fantastic,it does stay the whole day until I remove it with a makeup remover. I have also used this corrector to conceal hyper pigmentation around mouth and it works pretty well.

However the only downside to this corrector would be that it does not conceal extremely dark areas, if you have mild to heavy dark circles like me it will work very well for you but if you have extremely dark circles it will brighten but not fully correct the dark circles if you know what I mean :) Apart from that I really don't have any issues with this and would definitely recommend it to everyone!
