My ColourPop Lippie Stix and Lip Pencil Collection , Swatches and Comparisons (Pics Heavy)

Hi Everyone!

I am sure you know whats coming by reading the title of this post. Yes! I finally jumped on the Colourpop bandwagon..better late than never right? Infact I have been on a Colourpop kick lately and boy I am in love. After a long time I have fallen in love with a brand so much that I want to literally try all of their products. So today Ill be sharing with you all my current collection of lip liners and lippie stix's.....yeah thats what they call their lipsticks..lippie stix..so cute isnt it? Ill also be sharing some comparison swatches and dupes from MAC, LORAC and other high end as well as drugstore brands. So lets get started!

Colourpop debuted last year with their unique formula and wide range of eyeshadows and lippie stix's and were highly raved for the quality and price. All of their eyeshadow, lippie stix and lip liners are 5$ a piece which in my opinion is fantastic especially now since I have tried quite a few of them and I can vouch for their amazing quality. Every lippie stix has a matching lip liner available so you can have the perfect combo everytime. The lippie stix come in various finishes ranging from matte, satin, cream and more recently launched sheer. I have 10 of their lippie stix's and 4 lip liners in my collection currently and I truly love all of them!

The packaging is very simple and basic. All of their products come in white plastic packaging with silver writing on it. All their lippie stix's are twist up tubes and lip pencils are standard need to be sharpened. The bottom of the lippie stix's and lip pencils are color coordinated as you can see below in the pics which definitely makes life a lot easier if you have quite a few of these in your collection. I have worn most of the shades and let me tell you I am yet to be disappointed! They are creamy and buttery, even the ones that are matte finish glide on lips beautifully without tugging. The staying power is incredible especially for the deeper shades. They stayed on my lips for 6-7 hours and they do stain a bit.

The lip pencil shades I have are (from L-R)
Bound - which is a dupe for MAC Whirl lip liner
Tootsi - Greyish beige shade..GORGEOUS!
Lumiere - Mauvy Pink, this shade was developed by the adorable KathleenLights on YT.
Fern - Bright Magenta Purple

MAC Soar and Estee Lauder Tawny are almost exact dupes for each other, Colourpop Lumiere is also very similar just a bit lighter and MAC Pink Treat is a bit deeper and brighter.

Currently Loving - MAC, Paula's Choice, Origins, Too Faced and Colorbar

Hi All,

Its been a while since I did a post on some of my favorite products so I decided to share with you all some of my current favorite products that I am enjoying in this hot and humid weather of Florida. There are new HG skin care favorites as well as some oldies but goodies here.

Lets start with some of my new skincare favorites which I have been absolutely loving for the past few weeks!

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid - This has been a life changer in my skin care routine and deserves an entire post of its own which I will write very soon..promise. If you are suffering from acne, blackheads , clogged pores etc..all those nasty things you NEED this in your life! Period! Get it and you can thank me later!

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask - I have been on a mask kick lately! My skin tends to get quite oily especially on the T-Zone area during the summers and the weather here is very humid which certainly is not helping. So I have been enjoying face masks a lot and the one I that stood out was the origins charcoal mask. It contains charcoal powder and kaoline both known to work well on oily and acne prone skin. It makes my skin look clearer and brighter with pores less visible and tighter. It can be a little drying so those of you with dry and sensitive skin should do a patch test beforehand...just saying!

Now on to some makeup items!

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - I hit pan on my trusted MAC Studio Fix Powder foundation and was on a hunt for a new everyday light weight powder. I remember I had this in my collection so decided to pull it out and start using it again. MAC Mineralize skin finishes are finely milled powder which do not offer exceptional coverage but they are light weight for everyday use and give a polished and put together look. I love that its not completely matte and give a natural glow to the face.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - I got this a while back as a sample with one of those gift sets and just started using it regularly and boy I am in love! The name is an exaggeration but this mascara definitely gives the volume and length to my lashes making them appear fuller. It does not clump and its easy to remove..what else you want! Love it but I wouldn't purchase it as the price tag is too hefty...and I am sure there must be something similar or even far more better in the drugstore line..just got to dig a bit deeper to find out! Until then I have couple these in my collection to my rescue.

Colorbar Ultimate Eyeliner - I adore my Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner which I have already reviewed on the blog, you can check out the review here if you are interested. But once I ran out of it I picked up the Colorbar Ultimate Eyeliner in the pen form..this again was a repurchase. Its jet black, dries matte, does not smudge and is quite long lasting. Its the one I reach more on days when I don't have enough time to go the whole nine yards with my gel liners and when I am in a hurry to get out of the door. Its perfect for busy work day mornings and for those who are just beginners. Plus its not a pain in the butt to remove as those gel liners can be sometimes. Highly recommend it!

So thats it, these are some of the gems in my collection that I am currently enjoying. I know they are not a lot but are currently rocking my world.

Don't forget to share your current favorites in the comment section below..until next time take care and stay blessed!
