Current Skin Care Routine (Combination to Acne Prone Skin)

Hey Everyone!

I get so many queries on which products to use for oily and acne prone skin that I thought let me share my current skin care routine with you all. All these products I have been using since quite some time now and are working very well for my skin. Before I get started with the products let me tell you what type of skin I have. In my early teens I had very oil to acne prone skin but recently in last couple of years my skin has become quite combination in nature. I get dry patches in and around my nose and mouth area and also suffer from hyper pigmentation around mouth. My cheeks are oily and though currently I don't get pimples but I do suffer from zits and whiteheads here and there. Plus I also have a lot of acne marks and scars from my previous acne battle which still are fading.

So now that you all are aware the type of skin I have lets begin with the products. Please remember these are my personal opinion and everyone's skin is different so if one product works for me it may or may not work for you. If you are suffering from acne my first suggestion would be to visit a good dermatologist since they will be able to analyze your skin better. While surfing around online somehow I landed on review and swatches of Coygirl, one look at this gorgeous lavender pink and I melted. Unfortunately MAC has discontinued this blush so I couldn't find it in the MAC counters. Metallic Smokey Eyes with Inglot Pigment No 85 and FOTD

I created this Metallic Smokey Eyes using my favorite pigment which is the shade 85 from Inglot. Its a gorgeous duo chrome pigment and reflects different colors when the light hits. Loreal Color Riche Lipstick 456 Beige Creme Review, Swatch and FOTD

Today I'll be sharing my views on the Loreal Color Riche Lipstick in the shade 456 Beige Creme, price 785/- for 4.5g

Loreal Color Riche Lipsticks comes in a gorgeous gold packaging with Loreal Paris embossed on the tube. The cap of the tube fits in tightly and thus makes it quite travel friendly in my opinion. The bottom of the tube mentions the shade name and the shade number which comes in handy while storing especially if you have quite a lot of lipsticks.

I will be reviewing today Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3 which is part of Clinique's 3 Step Skin Care routine and retails for 1400 for 200 ml. 

I had heard so much about this product that finally I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I got my skin analyzed by the Clinique doctors when I was in KL and they suggested me to try their Clarifying Lotion 3 and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel as known as DDMG. So finally after a month and a half I gave in and hauled some of the stuff I had been eyeing since a long time! This officially is my first haul after I came back from KL! Yesterday I met up with my bestie V and had loads of fun, I was meeting her after a gap of almost 10 months so we had lots to catch up! We both love having Gujarati thali so we headed to Mayur restaurant at J.M.Road where you get one of the best thali in terms of authentic Gujarati taste in Pune! 

Look Of The Day: Neutral Eyes with Pink Lips

I love doing neutral eyes for work with a thick liner and small wing and loads of mascara! This technique helps to make my ever so small eyes appear bigger :)

My base is MAC Studio Fix Powder foundation with NYX Peach Blush, on eyes some MAC Select Cover Up Concealer and Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner for lining the eyes with Rimmel Mascara and on lips have Loreal Color Riche Lipstick in Beige Creme!

Today I'll be reviewing one of my favorite lips for office its Lakme Absolute Matte Lipstick in Peach Carnation!

Peach Carnation is a gorgeous neutral MLBB shade and is very flattering on Indian skin tones! The shade perfect for office wear since it has perfect balance of brown and pink! It comes out more pink on me than brown. I got this shade last year during Diwali and since then its been one of my absolute favorites!

I have quite a few of these dazzle eye liners from Chambor and love them for the gorgeous shades! Earlier I have reviewed Teal Dazzle which is my favorite shade of all time! Click on the link to check the review.

Like all Chambor Dazzle liners Purple Dazzle also comes in a twist up packaging, the worst part about this packaging is that its one way twist up so if by mistake you twist up too much it won't go back inside! This type of packaging just does not make sense and I hope they change it!
